About Exlabesa Building Systems
Previously Kaye Aluminium Systems and bought out by Exlabesa in Europe, Exlabesa Building Systems are based in Doncaster and service aluminium commercial fabricators specialising in new windows and doors. As well as this, there’s a smaller domestic installer base providing Exlabesa bifolding and sliding doors as a quality and more affordable solution to other folding sliding systems.
In the UK, Exlabesa Building Systems are part of a global operation originating in Spain and providing aluminium architectural glazing systems and building a larger presence through acquisition and expansion.

Offering a variety of windows, residential doors, heavy-duty commercial entrances and facade glazing, these products are extensively used in the construction of new dwellings and commercial buildings as well as general building refurbishments.
All products are either made and installed by Exlabesa fabricators/installers or they supply the systems on a trade basis to a network of installers.
The Exlabesa Building Systems Product Range
Suitable for dwellings, new build dwellings, offices, schools, retail and other buildings, the windows, doors and curtain walling systems are well-designed, easy to fabricate and install and provide affordable new glazing solutions.
Aluminum Windows
Four different aluminium window suites provide casement and tilt and turn window products available in numerous designs, colours and opening options.
KC75 casement windows are designed for new build or refurbishment products offering modern design, fast fabrication for manufacturers and easy installation on site. With a 75mm deep outer frame and polyamide thermal break, they come in side or top hung opening as well as fixed modules. For larger opening vents, sizes go up to 1.5m wide and 1.5m high on a top-hung version.
The KC51 Exlabesa window offers the same specifications and options as the KC75 but also offers a 51mm outer frame for new build openings. These too come in similar large maximum sizes and fully weather and security tested.
Exlabesa KS59 windows joins the growing family of steel-styled casement windows. This product features the stepped edge detail of classic steel windows such as Crittall® with a similar design. Exlabesa KS59 come as fixed or opening windows, deep 32mm thermal breaks and with PAS24:2012 security certification. Beating other steel-look windows sizes go up to 1200mm wide and 1500mm high on a top-hung design and 600mm x 1500mm on a side hung version.
The tilt and turn window solution comes with the KT51 product featuring a floating mullion profile, thermally insulated frames and good modern design. They come with a 75mm deep frame, U-Values of 1.5Wm2K and even larger vent sizes of 1.5×2.1m creating openings larger than most single doors.
Elabesa Building Systems Aluminium Doors
The KD51 model is a rebated thermally insulated door system available as single doors, double doors and with matching side or top panels where required.
Also with a 75mm frame, these residential doors provide excellent solutions in residential property as well as doors in new build apartments. Sizes up to 1100mm wide and 2400mm high also cater well for larger door sizes.
The Xlafold bifold door
For bifolding doors, Xlafold is a modern product at a very attractive price for homeowners or developers. It comes with a low threshold option, traffic door configuration and pleasing sightlines. Door panels sizes are standard for a door in this category only going up to 1m wide per panel and up to 2.4m high. Like other modern folding sliding doors, it’s passed security and weather performance tests.
Inline and Lift and Slide Patio doors
The KLS lift and slide model creates panel sizes up to 3.3m wide and 3.2m high and offers reliable large sliding doors for new extensions and replacement door projects.
The inline product Xlaslide is a more classically styled patio door yet comes with an excellent slim interlock of just 32mm. Panel sizes go up to 2m wide and 2.43m high.
Exlabesa Curtain Walling
For facade glazing, the systems available are stylish and easy to fabricate and assemble on site. Moreover, they come with the insulation, structural integrity and performance required of a quality curtain walling product. The KLW system is the simpler version starting with 50mm mullions and going up to 125mm deep for larger structures.
ECW-50 curtain walling is a more advanced stick system for larger glass elevations and is also CWCT tested and certified. This is also the ideal product where inset doors or casement windows are required.
