Vufold Aluminium Bifolding Doors
Vufold Supreme Aluminium Bifolding doors are British made at Vufold’s own manufacturing facility. Benefiting from a 70mm front to back frame system, they are ideal for direct fix to existing or brand new structural openings.
Glazing options are 28mm thick double glazed units of high specification, up to 44mm triple glazed units if required.
Vufold are one of only a few companies that offer standard size bifolding doors alongside made to measure options. The standard size range of Vufold doors are 2090mm high with widths ranging from 1790mm up to 4790mm wide enabling doors to be constructed in two pane right up to six pane configurations.
Aluminium doors offer a V Value of 1.7 W/m2K making them very thermally efficient. Double glazed doors will meet a U Value of 1.7 W/m2K, Triple glazed doors a U Value of 1.5 W/m2K.
Hardware on Vufold bifolding doors is of high quality benefitting from a self cleaning bottom roller system that is an excellent feature on these doors. The bottom tracks are offered with a track cover that prevents the bottom rollers typical of the vast majority of bifolding doors from becoming clogged up from debris.
Additionally, the hardware provided with the doors incorporates five point locking systems, high quality brushed metallic door handles, robust pull handles for intermediate leaves and slide bolts. Also included are unique magnetic catches to keep the doors together when fully opened.
Vufold bifolding doors also come in high quality powder coated finishes with a 15 year guarantee as standard. Available from stock are powder coated doors in Grey RAL 7016 and White RAL 9016.
