The Alufold Direct Product Range
Alufold’s product range is made using predominantly, the Aluk system – a tried and tested system widely used in the residential and commercial glazing market.
Using the ultra-successful Aluk Optio BSF70 folding sliding door system, and the newer slimmer AluK Luminia F82 model, Alufold is a leading bifolding door trade supplier and manufacturer.
The Optio BSF 70 provides a complete bifold solution for residential property also coming in a heavier duty version for commercial applications. The Lumina bifold benefits from very slim mullion sightlines of just 120mm, large panel sizes, even lower U-Values and more contemporary overall styling.
Three different sliding door models, available on a supply only basis comprise inline, patio doors with a lift and slide method, and slimline sliding doors.
Sightlines at the interlock start at 21mm with the Aluk Infinium product or 46mm using the standard model. Sliding doors come with various sliding options and tracks, an open corner design and can be set appropriately to give a flush or lower track.
Available on a trade supply only basis, Alufold provides casement, flush casement, tilt and turn and a variety of fixed glazing such as gable and floor-to-ceiling glazing.
The general range comprises windows with slim sightlines, low U-Values, certification to the latest security standards and a comprehensive range of colours
For front, side and rear doors, Alufold provides a complementary range of single and double doors, with matching side or top panels. These also feature slim sightlines, 58mm or 70mm frame depths, a wide choice of colours and U-Values meeting Building Regulations.
Using the same system, front doors are available using either solid or partially glazed insulated aluminium panels.
For flat roofs or new extensions, Alufold’s lantern roof product comprises super-slim 38mm rafters, thermally insulated profiles, an all aluminium construction and contemporary design.
Available in sizes up to 4.5m long, the roofs come with simple and fast installation and 1.4Wm2K U-Values with a high specification safety glass unit.

Lead times and service levels from Alufold Direct
During the pandemic, Alufold began a huge £2m transformation across its entire operation. The result is a 120,000sqft cutting edge manufacturing facility, capable of delivering consistent, highly repeatable precision outputs in windows, doors and roof-lights. Alufold Direct now has huge capacity to grow as demand increases and customers expand.
Many aluminium fabricators put multiple products down the same assembly lines. This puts limitations on fabrication speed and volume. Alufold has three purpose-built and dedicated high-speed lines. Each line has its own top of the range cutting and machining centres, as well as fully automated four head crimpers to give the ultimate finish to all of their aluminium products.
Not all the investment across Alufold has been in the physical space. The company has also began vastly improving its digital infrastructure too. Instant quotation tools deliver instant quotes direct to your customer inboxes at any time of day. The order tracking software gives the company better visibility through the full order lifecycle from quote to delivery across its product ranges. These include:
Alufold focuses on delivering quality-made products at fast lead times with an efficient service. Most products are available on two week lead times with many special colours also available fast.
