Aluhaus have taken the Synseal Warmcore system and applied a number of highly innovative engineering enhancements. On other pages we explain the Aluhaus product range in detail, but here we are going to explain what Warmcore is.
Sysneal Extrusions are one of the UK’s best-known systems companies for PVCu windows. Founded in 1980, Synseal provides a big range of market leading PVCu windows, doors and conservatories.
Synseal’s entry into the aluminium market came with Warmcore and soon followed by the Synseal Stratus Aluminium roof. Warmcore has been one of the fenestration sector’s success stories.
Warmcore is a modern aluminium system.
In creating the Warmcore suite, Synseal has created a new range of windows and doors that focus on improving the thermal efficiency of the product while at the same time providing aesthetics with residential appeal. There are five features of the Warmcore system that set it apart from other leading brands of windows and doors.
- The full-width thermal break that is not polyamide.
- The superior thermal performance and low U-Values
- The choice of flush sashes or traditional casement.
- The selection of traditional or contemporary profiles.
- The availability of matching bifolding, Single and French Doors.
Warmcore gives fabricators and installers a genuinely new system to sell.
Study the recent ‘new’ bifolding doors to hit the market, and the majority of them do not offer anything game-changing. While other bifolding doors and window systems are new, with few exceptions, they are usually based on similar principles found in other new systems.
- The conventional polyamide thermal break
- Low U-Values only with quite a high specification glass.
- The provision of fitter friendly features such as adjustable jambs.
- The slimming down of the meeting stiles.
Our view is that the five key features of Warmcore provide fabricators, installers an advantage alongside their existing aluminium ranges.
Warmcore is not just a new system. It is a different system.
Warmcore provides a genuinely different product to compare against others.
Salespeople looking for unique selling propositions when discussing their various products with a client can confidently talk about Warmcore and explain its five key features and the benefits for the customer.
The thermal core gives a client the chance to think about U-Values and thermal performance as a whole without spending more on glass specification.
The flush casement detail of the aluminium window is only to be found in one other residential aluminium system (that’s Origin) and gives them a window aesthetic they will not have seen before.
The choice of modern or pencil round aesthetic is not often found in bifolding doors and provides choice.
The ability to offer the customer matching folding and hinged doors is going to appeal to homeowners.
One other important feature of Warmcore.
While every systems company in the UK provides a range of windows, bifolding doors and residential front doors, the reality is that not every installer is loyal to one system. It is very often the case that home improvement companies will offer their core product (usually the bifold) from one system, windows and residential doors from another. System loyalty is rare today given the enormous choice of products available to sell.
Warmcore is one of the few residential systems that offers a home solution within one brand. The construction and design are the same. The aesthetics are similar and the performance of the products consistent with each other.
For the homeowner that wants one good aluminium system in their house without having to compare the features and benefits of several brands, we think Warmcore provides a great solution and a strong selling feature for installers.
